The practice was formed by Dr Beale in June 1991 when another practice withdrew from the Health Centre.

The number of patients registered here has kept growing since then. Dr Shaw joined in 2002 as a partner, having worked as a locum here for 2 years. Dr Deacon joined in 2005.

Initially the practice was based in the older part of the Health Centre, but moved to the extension in 2002.
