If illness prevents you from coming to surgery, then
we will come and see you at home. If you would like us
to visit, please contact us by 10.30am. Emergency visits
only will be arranged after this time. Visits are
usually undertaken after morning surgery.
When calling, you will be asked a few details to help us
assess the urgency of the situation. The receptionist
will check a few details including telephone number and
address where the patient is located. Sometimes there is
a more appropriate means of dealing with such requests
so the doctor may telephone you back to discuss the
situation.
The vast majority of problems are best seen at the
surgery. Please do try to come to surgery whenever
possible as facilities are better for examination and
treatment.
We regret that we cannot guarantee that any particular
GP will be able to make a particular house call.
